Let‘s cut to the chase: You need a new job.
But at interview you’ve no idea if you‘re saying the right things, and you stumble and bumble your way though the nerve-racking conversation, hoping the interviewer can somehow guess how brilliant you are.
Look, it’s not your fault; nobody ever taught you the right way. But now you have the opportunity to learn, so that all that horrible guesswork is removed. I will teach you how to sell yourself so that you present yourself in the best possible light in an interview situation.
What will I learn?
What you MUST do before and after the interview
to ensure they know you’re an ideal candidate
The type of language to avoid that makes you sound incompetent
and what to say instead to sound confident
What to do when asked to “Talk me through your CV”
so that you keep the interviewer engaged and interested
How to answer notoriously difficult yet common interview questions
such as “Tell me a bit about yourself,” , “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”
and “Why should we hire you?” (Ugh! It‘s OK, those monstrosities and more are covered!)
How to rescue the interview when it‘s going in a direction you don’t like
Gaps in your work history? Awkward reason for leaving your last job? Sudden change in career direction? Covered!
How to find out if the job has longevity for you
and will keep you happy and motivated and not quit with burn-out and frustration
And so much more!
Course Participant Testimonial
“This course is just excellent. I’m 40 and I’ve been applying to jobs every few years for most of my career, but I’ve learned things and been reminded of things that I’d forgotten. Lisa clearly knows her stuff, and the quality of this course is top-notch. I usually hate watching videos but these are really good quality, short, snappy and very engaging. The accompanying worksheets are easy to do and are a good prompt of the points she covers. Best money I ever spent on an online course.”

7 Modules
Day 1 – Put Your Best Foot Forward
Our first module is all about elevating oneself mentally, physically, and verbally. When we take care of our wellbeing, posture, and grooming, and articulate ourselves confidently, we feel a whole lot better about ourselves and others take us more seriously.
Day 2 – Use The Internet For Good
Our second module is about cleaning up your social media so that recruiters get a good impression of you, AND reading up on the company, industry news, and the latest technology in your field so that you’re clued up.
Day 3 – Learn Your Own Needs
Our third module focuses on finding out what will make you happy in your work, and what motivates you to quit, so that you can find out whether the company and role you’re interviewing for will meet your needs.
Day 4 – Ask Useful Questions
Our fourth module is about creating questions for you to ask throughout the interview so that you can find out enough about the job and organisation to decide whether you want to work there. Remember, the interview is a 2-way street, so don’t wait until the end of the interview to ask questions!
Day 5 – Results-Focus Your History
Our fifth module is about preparing to answer questions about your work history in a way that focuses on results and successes, rather than tasks and job descriptions, so that you’re demonstrating the value you could bring to the role.
Day 6 – Future-Focus Your Responses
Our sixth module addresses how to answer 3 common types of interview questions so that you can paint yourself in the best possible light while also allowing the interviewer to understand how you work.
Day 7 – Increase Chance of a Call-Back
Our seventh – and final! – day is about a few small but significant things you can do at the end of the interview and afterward to increase your chances of being called back for a second interview, or being offered a job.
